Web Design & Web Development

About
I started in the industry in 2016 as a freelance as a web designer, exploring the fundamentals of design and user interfaces during the rise of Web 2.0. Surrounding myself with talented people, I was able to learn from them and grow as a designer. Over time, my interest in technology led me to specialize in front-end development, learning on my own and from more experienced professionals who were willing to share their knowledge.
Since 2021, I have been working as a web developer with experience in WordPress and a strong focus on JavaScript and TypeScript, particularly with Next.js. Throughout my career, I have honed my ability to manage time efficiently, allowing me to balance continuous learning with collaborating on diverse projects.
Additionally, I have integrated AI tools into my workflow to optimize processes and enhance productivity. I understand how to ask the right questions and leverage AI as a strategic resource to stay on track and make informed decisions.
I am always looking for new opportunities that allow me to grow and contribute to innovative projects. If you have an idea in mind, I'd be happy to be a part of it.
Experience
- As the sole developer in the agency, I lead the creation and optimization of websites, managing all technical solutions. Additionally, I am expanding my expertise in event tracking with GTM and GA, as well as SEO. As the agency grows, my role is evolving toward leading the development department.
- As a Webmaster at a specialized marketing agency for car dealerships, I played a crucial role in managing and creating landing pages across multiple websites for various stores throughout the USA. My responsibilities included overseeing the performance of these landing pages and ensuring smooth process executions.
- Drawing from my experience in UI/UX design, I bring a unique perspective to my role as a functionality tester. With a keen eye for detail, I ensure high standards of visual accuracy in Figma projects. My background as a designer has played a pivotal role in honing this skill. In cases where older projects lacked visual references, my designer's sensibility allowed me to make consistent and meaningful suggestions for improvement. Additionally, I serve as a proficient backup front-end developer, well-versed in CSS, PHP, and Next.js.
- As a webmaster at ImageID, one of the largest marketing agencies in Colombia, I was responsible for managing multiple websites using WordPress as the CMS, primarily through page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Beaver Builder. I also had experience in managing e-commerce databases.
Projects
3D AppleVision Pro Demo
In my journey to enhance my frontend developer skills, I embarked on exploring 3D animations for web development. Embracing the Apple Vision Pro trend, I showcased its capabilities in this project. Following a freecodecamp guide, I constructed the environment in vite with react.js. To manipulate 3D objects and create animations, I utilized WebGi (powered by Three.js) and GSAP. The outcome features Apple Vision Pro glasses moving in three dimensions as you scroll, and allows interactive manipulation of the 3D object in the final section with the "try me" button.

Kamaredine Properties
Revamped the online presence for Kamaredine Properties, a hotel located in Burgas, Bulgaria. Given its prime location and diverse tourism, the website is multilingual, featuring English as the primary language, along with Bulgarian and Russian. Built using WordPress and Elementor, the design process did not rely on traditional design software. Instead, the designer created a stylescape that captured the desired colors, fonts, and overall essence. I adapted this vision into a template, iteratively crafting the layout in an intuitive manner, ensuring a polished and responsive design across all devices.

As a dedicated web developer and classic car enthusiast, I tackled the creation of a dynamic car gallery project. Building on its visually simple design, I confidently crafted it without relying on tools like Figma. While I had previously created a static version using HTML and Bootstrap, this upgraded iteration utilizes advanced technologies like Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Swiper. The result is a sleek interface showcasing diverse categories such as muscle cars, bikes, trucks, and electric vehicles. To enhance user experience, I incorporated a customizable dark mode feature.
