Web Design & Web Development
About
Hey there, thanks for dropping by! In the past six years, my journey in tech has been quite a ride. I started as a self-taught designer and freelance creative back in October 2016. As time went on, my passion for UI design grew stronger, propelling me to become a self-taught front-end developer.
Things really kicked into gear around January 2021 when I fully embraced my role as a web developer. This marked a turning point in my career journey. I've been on a mission to master JavaScript and Next.js, always staying on top of the latest tech tools and trends.
My career path is a testament to my love for learning and self-improvement, taking me from a freelance designer to a skilled front-end developer. I'm excited to connect with you and chat about my experiences and future goals.
Experience
- As a Webmaster at a specialized marketing agency for car dealerships, I played a crucial role in managing and creating landing pages across multiple websites for various stores throughout the USA. My responsibilities included overseeing the performance of these landing pages and ensuring smooth process executions.
- Drawing from my experience in UI/UX design, I bring a unique perspective to my role as a functionality tester. With a keen eye for detail, I ensure high standards of visual accuracy in Figma projects. My background as a designer has played a pivotal role in honing this skill. In cases where older projects lacked visual references, my designer's sensibility allowed me to make consistent and meaningful suggestions for improvement. Additionally, I serve as a proficient backup front-end developer, well-versed in CSS, PHP, and Next.js.
- As a webmaster at ImageID, one of the largest marketing agencies in Colombia, I was responsible for managing multiple websites using WordPress as the CMS, primarily through page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Beaver Builder. I also had experience in managing e-commerce databases.
Projects
3D AppleVision Pro Demo
In my journey to enhance my frontend developer skills, I embarked on exploring 3D animations for web development. Embracing the Apple Vision Pro trend, I showcased its capabilities in this project. Following a freecodecamp guide, I constructed the environment in vite with react.js. To manipulate 3D objects and create animations, I utilized WebGi (powered by Three.js) and GSAP. The outcome features Apple Vision Pro glasses moving in three dimensions as you scroll, and allows interactive manipulation of the 3D object in the final section with the "try me" button.
